Student pointing at touchscreen with MicroSociety 2.0

4th Terra® is an interactive, web-based 3D simulation that turns classrooms into launchpads for hope, agency, collaboration, and future-ready skills. Designed for grades 3–8, students work in teams to build and govern their own society—launching bold initiatives and tackling real economic, civic, environmental, and social challenges.

The goal is to reach 4th Terra—a thriving society where people, planet, and prosperity are in balance. Students test ambitious strategies and measure progress using wellbeing metrics inspired by the Wellbeing Economy Alliance, whose indicators are influencing countries around the world. They analyze results, adjust their decisions, and actively reshape their society to achieve sustainable success.

Through purposeful, collaborative play, students realize their choices matter—and that they can build a more just and flourishing world.
