Our abbreviated MicroSociety workshops for school and district level personnel are designed to demonstrate the power of real-world learning by allowing participants to experience it first hand. Our most popular options, experiential classroom strategies the Micro way, classroom management, and instructional methods using real-world learning, are designed specifically to help central office staff appreciate how real-world connections accelerate learning. They are enjoyable and provide cutting edge opportunities for team building. Micro-In-A-Day Connecting real life to learning by creating a society for just one day helps make school more meaningful to children and energizes teachers and administrators when they see what their students can do. Whether it is a group of students being guided by MicroSociety Certified Trainers while their teachers learn and observe or a group of district leaders sharing a team building experience that demonstrates how to make learning more relevant to children, the power of starting a society from scratch and bringing it to fruition in under six hours is dramatic. Multi – Week Micro: The Intersession Marvel Our National Certified Trainers help students launch a mini-MicroSociety for three to nine weeks. This abbreviated MicroSociety program experience is the ideal way to engage students and accelerate learning during those weeks of intersession when they can be distracted and disengaged.
