As a part of the Membership Committee, you’ll help identify and locate people who participated in MicroSociety programs around the country, starting with your own alma mater. You can help spread the word about  MICROSOCIETY, Inc.’s National Alumni Association, and help make the association a valued resource for alumni all over the country.

George H. Richmond Young Alumni Award Commitee
In time for the 2010 graduating class, the Alumni Association is proud to announce the George H. Richmond Young Alumni Award. In the spirit of founder, Dr. George Richmond and his legacy, the Association will be presenting awards to a handful of students who exemplify resilience and ingenuity because of their MicroSociety experience. Volunteers review award applications, find sponsors, and select winners at MicroSociety schools. More details to come soon.

Speakers Bureau
Has your MicroSociety experience had a profound impact on your life? Share your story and make a difference. As a member of the Speakers Bureau, you’ll speak on behalf of MICROSOCIETY, Inc. to a variety of audiences at events, such as business meetings, school "Micro Nights," education conferences or other happenings that you suggest. You’ll share your MicroSociety experience, and how it has shaped your personal growth or career development. Who knows - you might get interviewed by the press, too.

PR & Outreach Committee
Do you know of a school or after school program that would benefit from a MicroSociety program? Your child’s school? Your church? Any public, private, or charter schools and afterschool programs can participate. If you have a contact or ideas, join our committee. Learn more about our programs and services.

Venture and Agency Mentors
Why not join a group of dedicated volunteers and give back to a MicroSociety school or afterschool program? Share your talents with current MicroSociety students or teachers. Whether you are in high school, college, or in the work world, contact us to connect you with a MicroSociety school. Community service credit also may be available.
