Did you know?
Since 1967, over 250,000 students have participated in a MicroSociety program in over 200 schools across the country. For many, it has shaped their life’s path, and some actually became professionally what they were in MicroSociety. How cool is that! How has your MicroSociety experience shaped your life? We encourage you to stay in touch, get involved, learn about MICROSOCIETY, and become a member today!

Meet Our Alumni

"My son, Adam, did quite well in law school in Richmond MicroSociety; he scored 91% on the Micro-bar exam - highest in the school. He recently scored 171 on the LSAT, which put him in the top 2% in the country. Now he has been recently accepted to Georgetown Law School in the DC area. Micro definitely imitates real life."

Rick Maloon, MicroSociety parent, Facilitator, and Certified Trainer

"MicroSociety gave me the chance to feel what it is like to be a productive, valuable member of a community. In my elementary school-mind, it gave my education more purpose and meaning. It kept me engaged every day. Today, while I am looking towards college and considering my career options, I still think back to my Micro experiences. What a window to the world for young kids."

Domenic DeJesus, Senior, Philips Academy Andover, MA

Megan Reichert, Miss Wyoming, 2004, MicroSociety student, Tongue River Elementary School, Ranchester, WY

Iesha Turner, 2009 George Award Alumni Recipient, The Chiles Academy Charter School, Volusia County, FL

Tasheana Dukuly, City Magnet School, Lowell, MA. Bates College Student, Bates College

About the MICROSOCIETY National Alumni Association
Alumni care deeply about the future of our youth and our planet. We are high school and college students, young professionals, civic leaders, activists, entrepreneurs, artists, managers, and educators. We come from all over the country, and all cultural backgrounds. Although different, each one of us share that same rare glimpse into the real world at such a young age. We believe that the MicroSociety approach creates independent thinkers who grow up to solve problems of the real world - and realize their own potential.
